Jamie McMillan

Volunteer Co-ordinator and Training Facilitator

I am the Volunteer Co-ordinator and Training Facilitator here at Resilience Learning Partnership. My role allows me to engage with an array of different professionals and members of my local community. I began engaging with RLP 2 years ago and now find myself in a permanent part-time role while I study a degree in psychology at The University of Stirling.

Since engaging in the Hard Edges project back in January 2020, I have gone on to progress from a volunteer into managing the Crafty Kids project and now find myself in the role I am today. I can use my lived experience in all aspects of my work within Resilience Learning Partnership, in a safe environment where I feel empowered to become the best version of myself while supporting others throughout my journey of recovery from complex trauma.
